PurrNap Offline Games · Last updated 19 October 2026

The short version. PurrNap has no accounts and no server of its own. Your games, progress and settings live on your phone. Google services built into the app handle three jobs — showing ads (AdMob, with Unity Ads, Pangle and InMobi competing for some of the same ad slots), telling us what crashed and which games get played (Firebase), and delivering small configuration updates. Firebase collects that usage and crash data for us, so we are responsible for it, as this page explains. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent the first time you open a game (or about a minute after launch if you only browse), and the ad services, analytics and crash reporting do not start until you have answered; you can change your answer any time in Settings → Privacy choices.

Who we are

PurrNap is published by Mellow Mew Games (Vedang Bajpai), India. If you have any question about this policy or about your data, write to support@purrnap.games.

What PurrNap itself collects

The app does not ask for an account, an email address, a phone number, a name or your precise location, and it has no server of its own. Every game runs entirely on the device, with or without a connection. It does send data to services we use: Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics collect the usage and crash data listed below on our behalf, and we decide what is collected and why, so for that data we are the controller (under the GDPR and similar laws) and Google processes it for us. The ad services, Google AdMob and Unity Ads, collect the data listed below under their own privacy policies.

What stays on your phone

PurrNap keeps your progress in the app's own local storage: game saves, best scores, streaks, missions, Momo's outfits and your settings. Cloud backup is deliberately turned off, so this data is not copied into Android backups and we cannot see it. Uninstalling the app deletes it; clearing the app's data in Android settings also deletes it. If you change phones, Settings → Save code copies your whole save as a text code that you keep and paste into the app on the new phone; the code goes through your clipboard only, never through a server.

Reminders (an unfinished game, a streak about to lapse) are scheduled on your phone from its own data; nothing is sent to us or pushed from a server, and you can turn them off in Android settings. If you use one of your own photos as a puzzle picture, you pick it with Android's system photo picker; the app keeps a small square copy in its own storage, and the photo never leaves your phone.

Google services in the app

These collect data under Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

ServiceWhat it collectsWhy
Google AdMob with Google's consent platformYour device's advertising ID, coarse region derived from your connection, device model, app version, your consent choices, and which ads were shown or completed. To show and measure ads. PurrNap uses rewarded ads that you choose to watch for in-game help, and occasional full-screen ads between games. There are no banner ads.
Firebase AnalyticsA random app-instance ID and usage events — for example which game was opened or finished, session length and ad events — plus device model, OS, app version, coarse region and, where you allow it, your device's advertising ID.To see, in aggregate, which of the 40 games people enjoy, and to make the app better. It is not used to identify you.
Firebase CrashlyticsCrash logs and diagnostics: stack traces, install identifiers, device model and OS version. To find and fix crashes.
Firebase Installations & SessionsA random ID for this installation of the app and a random ID for each session. So Analytics, Crashlytics and Remote Config can tell installs and sessions apart. They are not linked to your name or to any account.
Firebase Remote Config & install referrerA standard configuration request (after your consent where it is needed), and the store link that led to the install. To deliver small fixes without an update (for example temporarily disabling a broken game) and to learn which of our videos bring players in.

Unity Ads, Pangle and InMobi

Some of the same rewarded and full-screen ads may be served by Unity Ads, Pangle (the ad network run by ByteDance) or InMobi, which compete with Google for each ad slot through Google AdMob mediation. When one of them serves an ad, it collects data under its own privacy policy: Unity at unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy, Pangle at pangleglobal.com/privacy (pick your region there), and InMobi at advertising.inmobi.com/privacy-policy.

ServiceWhat it collectsWhy
Unity Ads (via AdMob mediation)Your device's advertising ID, coarse region derived from your connection, device model and OS version, app version, the consent choices you made in the app, and which ads were shown, completed or tapped. To show, measure and pay for ads, and to keep them free of fraud. The consent message described below applies to Unity Ads too.
Pangle (via AdMob mediation)Your device's advertising ID, IP address and the coarse region derived from it, a device ID Pangle assigns, device model, OS, language and time zone, app version, the consent choices you made in the app, and which ads were shown, completed or tapped. To show, measure and pay for ads, and to keep them free of fraud. The consent message described below applies to Pangle too.
InMobi (via AdMob mediation)Your device's advertising ID, IP address and the coarse region derived from it, device model and OS version, app version, the consent choices you made in the app, and which ads were shown, completed or tapped. To show, measure and pay for ads, and to keep them free of fraud. How we use this data, and why we may

Purposes. Firebase data is used only to understand, in aggregate, how the games are played, to find and fix crashes, and to deliver configuration updates. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

Legal basis. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we rely on your consent: Analytics, Crashlytics and the configuration request stay off until you have answered the consent message, and stay off if you do not agree. Elsewhere we rely on our legitimate interest in keeping a free app working and improving it.

Who receives it. Google (Firebase) processes our data for us. Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Pangle, InMobi and the certified advertising partners shown in the consent message receive ad data as independent controllers, under their own policies.

International transfers. We are based in India. Google, Unity, Pangle and InMobi process data in the United States, Singapore and other countries; transfers from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland rely on the safeguards those providers use, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long it is kept. Firebase Analytics keeps event data for at most 14 months; Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days. Ad data is kept under each ad network's own policy (Google, Unity, Pangle and InMobi).

Ads and your consent

In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland PurrNap shows a consent message the first time you open a game (or about a minute after launch if you only browse); the ad services do not start before you have answered. In US states with privacy laws a message also lets you opt out. You can decline and the app works the same. Advertising data may be shared with Google and its certified advertising partners according to the choice you make; the partner list is shown inside the message. Under some US laws this counts as "sharing" or "sale" of personal information, and the same message is how you opt out. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID any time in Android settings under Privacy → Ads. Where the consent message applies, you can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy choices; withdrawing is as easy as agreeing, and it switches Analytics and Crashlytics off again.

Purchases

There are no in-app purchases in PurrNap, and nothing is bought with real money. Rewarded ads are optional: you choose to watch one for in-game help.

Children

PurrNap is intended for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the app and that data about them has been collected by one of the services above, contact us and we will help you have it removed.

Retention and your rights

We keep no account, name or contact details of yours. The Firebase data described above is tied only to random IDs, kept for the periods given above, and stops being collected when you withdraw consent or uninstall the app; clearing the app's data resets the IDs. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe, the UK GDPR, Swiss law, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the CCPA in California) you may have the right to access, correct or delete data about you, to object to or restrict its use, to receive a copy, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to a data-protection authority: in the EEA the authority in your country, in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office, in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, and in India the Data Protection Board of India.

This website

purrnap.games uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page visits. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not follow you across sites.

Security

Your progress stays on your device, protected by your phone's own security. We recommend a screen lock and keeping Android up to date.

Changes to this policy

If we add a service or change what is collected, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change reaches the app. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's update notes.
